Compatibility Notes

1.5

With the introduction of iOS 10, Apple released an upgraded version of the development environment (Xcode 8) so it is harder for us to support older iOS releases. Specifically:

As a result, starting with Small Animal DDx 1.5 we only support iOS 8.1 and later.

1.4

With the introduction of iOS 7, Apple released an upgraded version of the development environment (Xcode 5) so it is harder for us to support older iOS releases. Specifically:

As a result, starting with Small Animal DDx 1.4 we only support iOS 5.0 and later.

1.3

With the introduction of iOS 6, Apple released an upgraded version of the development environment (Xcode 4.5) which removes the ability to build applications for older iOS devices. Specifically:

As a result, starting with Small Animal DDx 1.3 we only support iOS 4.3 and later and armv7 and later devices.

Apple should be able to prevent overwriting a working version with one that cannot work on your device -- in case of an unwanted upgrade, you may be able to downgrade the app from a backup copy.
